Peter Taylor has commented on his absense at training one day prior to the game against Burley and his decision not to face the camera's in the aftermath of the defeat saying "it wasn't about me last night, the boys can be very proud of their second half efforts, and to end all speculation I'm not going anywhere, I'm fully committed to this U17's team and have got the backing from Ian and all the players, it's been a hard week but I appreciate everybody keeping faith." These comments relate to the growing rumours that Peter Taylor would be leaving the back room staff however it seems now his position as Assistant Coach is not under threat.
